VIRTUOZZO FOR LINUX TECHNICAL UPDATE
SWsoft announces the availability of the following new tool enhancements and
templates:
1. Virtuozzo 3.0 Tool Enhancements
2. Expand 2.1.2 Templates
Virtuozzo 3.0 Tools Enhancements
This new Virtuozzo 3.0.0 tools update provides user-level tools and fixes related
to the management of EZ templates, bridges and VLANs and various stability fixes.
All users are advised to update their tools packages.
This update includes the following:
- Improvements of the vzsplit utility
- Bind mount no longer appears as a whole underlying filesystem in df
- The "vzctl set --ifname" problem on VLAN interface is fixed
- The error causing system accounts desynchronisation upon reinstall is corrected
- An error causing the VE to be falsely be reported on the Source Node is fixed.
- Changes of memory settings now update /proc/meminfo
- Access to Node's VLAN is no longer lost after adding it to bridge
- A fix to the error causing vznetcfg to not handle VLAN=yes parameter correctly
- vzlmond errors due to error in network stats parsing are corrected
- The error causing vzrestore to hang in vzpkg repair is fixed
- Correction of 'vzpkg create cache' problems
Expand 2.1.2 Templates
Expand 2.1.2 Virtuozzo templates are now available for the following operating
systems:
- CentOS 3, CentOS 4
- Fedora Core 2, Fedora Core 3, Fedora Core 4
- Redhat as3, Redhat as4
